The NSW Gliding Association Oversees All Gliding Operations In New South Wales
The objectives of the New South Wales Gliding are:
To promote, coordinate and assist the pursuit, sport and science of gliding and soaring within the State of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
To represent the interests of its members to other organisations, especially State, Territory and Local government and community organisations.
To manage the collective activities of gliding and soaring within the region to ensure the sport remains relevant and viable and are conducted in accordance with the standards prescribed by the Gliding Federation of Australia (GFA) and other associated authorities.
To acquire, coordinate and disseminate knowledge relevant to the sport and science of gliding in all its aspects and developments.
To provide and facilitate smooth and free communication between the association, its members, the GFA, GFA Officers and members, other State and Regional Associations of the GFA, and providers of services to the gliding movement.
To undertake collective negotiation as determined by the committee.
To assist Member Clubs in the assessment and management of risk.
To promote competition, achievement, records and development of gliding and soaring.
To continually adapt and stay relevant to the changing needs of gliding and soaring in the context of our society.
To promote, encourage and sponsor participation in gliding and soaring, particularly among young people and other target groups.
To assist in the formation, development, conduct, management and winding up of member gliding clubs and organisations.
To carry out the above for purposes other than profit or financial gain of individuals.

Equipment Hire
NSW Gliding has equipment for loan to Clubs and members. If you would like to hire any of these items you may do by contacting the equipment officer.
